People have always asked “Are there Angels among us?” According to the Bible and the Book of Revelation which are one and the same, God has had Angels from the beginning of time as we know it to this present day, they are doing Gods work and He has a future ministry of angels and demons. Their constant work toward God and humanity is not yet finished.
The Bible mentions Angels 92 times from the book of Genesis all the way through to the final book of Revelation. And I want us to take a look at the work of Angels in the last days. In the book of Revelation alone angels are mentioned 23 times, that means that angels are mentioned 4 times as much in Revelation then all the other 65 books of the Bible. So the question are there angels, I’m going to say you better believe it, yes yes yes!
In Revelation 5:11 “And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands”. In other words they are innumerable.
Angels and there role in the Church!
Revelation 1:20 “The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which you saw are the seven churches.” Here we see an active row in the affairs of the Christians and how they watch after them and protect them by a mighty power.
Here’s is an example of just how powerful angels are, In 2nd Kings 19:35 “And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and killed in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand:(185,000) and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses”. The Assyrians were getting ready to attack the Israeli army buy God had other plans. It’s amazing to see how powerful one angel can be. Now in Psalms 34:7 “The angel of the LORD encamped round about them that fear him, and delivered them”. You see right here as a Christian God puts one of His angels in charge of you and will deliver us from the attacks of the devil/demons and will get us to heaven.
I’m not saying we won’t be tempted and tried because we will, but when we are tempted God will give us away out, we read in 1st Corinthians 10:13 ” There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it”.
But the Angels job is to help and protect us from evil. And in the Revelation they are going to be the ones who are bringing the wrath of God on the ungodly world! They will be the administrators of the wrath of God!
Four Angels Hold Back The Winds Of Judgment
Revelation 7:1:”And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree” Four corners meaning the North, South, East and West, God knows the earth isn’t square because we read in the book of Isaiah 40:21-22: Have you not known? have you not heard? has it not been told to you from the beginning? Have ye not understood that from the foundations of the earth? 22 It is He that sits upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretches out the heavens as a curtain, and spreads them out as a tent to dwell in:
You see this is going to be a time of Great Tribulation that has never been seen since the creation of the earth! Well maybe the flood? In Romans1:18 “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness”; Yes my dear friends God is going to judge the whole world and no one will be able to stop it. And the day or the hour no man knows when it’s coming, but when it starts it will be like one disaster after another, and as we see the angels are involved in every phase of this Tribulation period!
Angels will be fighting in heaven under the leadership of Michael the archangel.
Revelation 12:7 “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found anymore in heaven.9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceived the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him’.
So the orders are coming from the Michael the archangel, sound familiar? Remember folks this has been going on for a long, long time! But now the battle is going to have a definite outcome. God Wins! I don’t want to get into the deep details here we will be doing that as we go along, but see how the angels are fully and absolutely going to be involved.

ANGELS PREACHING the GOSPEL ALL AROUND THE WORLD!
Revelation 14:6 “And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb”:
CONCLUSION
The question or statement about Angels, as you can see there is overwelming evidence that not only do Angels exist but that they are always involved in the work of God, fighting evil and bringing good, conducting the will of the almighty God even if it means standing with Saint Peter at the Pearly Gates and waiting for the signs of the end of the world to come and what a day it will be when it’s all when God wraps it all up and mankind will be in perfect harmony with God and His Kingdom!
The real question is this are you ready to meet God? I hope you are!
